App Description

MyTeamRoutes (MTR) is a web-based platform built for cycling teams to organize, manage, and communicate about group rides. Team captains create events with multiple distance-and-speed route options, members register for a route and pace, and everyone arrives on the same page — literally. SAG support, check-in tracking, and team-wide or event-wide email keep the group coordinated from start to finish.

Features
  • Dashboard — Join a team, create a team, links to view your team members, view your upcoming rides with registration indicated if you've signed up.
  • Team Management — Create a team, invite members via email, promote/demote captains, and leave or delete your account as needed.
  • Event Scheduling — Captains create events with one or more routes at different distances. Each route offers multiple speed options so riders self-select the right group.
  • Route Maps — Upload route images linked to Ride With GPS. Riders can preview the course before registering for a route.
  • Registration & Check-In — Members register for a specific route and speed. SAG designees and captains can check riders in on ride day.
  • Communication — Captains can email all team members or all event registrants using the built-in rich text editor (bold, italic, colors, lists, and more).
  • Role-Based Access Control — Four team roles (Member, Route Master, Team Admin, Captain) with granular, per-team permissions. The Team Captain Portal provides a matrix where captains toggle which features each role can access — control over event creation, route management, SAG designation, email, check-in, and more.
  • Weather & Planning Tools — Built-in weather lookup, Miles2Go ride-distance tracker, and Funds2Go fundraising tracker help teams plan ahead.
